Ustaad Ram Pothineni is currently immersed in the shoot for his upcoming film, #RAPO22. As part of the next filming schedule, he arrived in Rajahmundry, where his fans gave him a grand welcome.
The usually busy quarry market area in Rajahmundry transformed into a celebration zone as hundreds of fans gathered to greet their idol. A standout moment of the event was the enormous banana garland (Gela Mala) – a special tribute organized by his fans. This iconic garland, a nod to the traditions of the Godavari region, was so massive it required a crane to lift and present it to the actor.
Such an extraordinary welcome for a hero is unprecedented. Fans were ecstatic to see Ram in Rajahmundry after 15 years, making the occasion even more memorable. This marks his first visit to the city since his 2009 appearance for Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, and the affection and admiration from his fans were evident.
#RAPO22 is directed by Mahesh Babu P and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with Bhagyashri Borse playing the female lead. With a month-long filming schedule set in Rajahmundry, fans are eagerly awaiting more updates on this highly anticipated film.
The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
