Story :
Gayatri (Shanthi Rao), a diligent floor manager at a hotel, stumbles upon a bag overflowing with bundles of cash. For a moment, it feels like fate has smiled upon her. But how long will this newfound joy last before it takes a darker turn?
Arjun (Thiruveer), an employee at the passport office, receives an unusual call from a friend asking for a forged passport. Already struggling to repay a loan he borrowed from his ‘Mama’, this phone call sets off a chain of events that turns his life upside down. What changes does the call bring to Arjun’s journey?
Shanvi (Jennifer), trapped in a suffocating marriage with a sadistic husband, finds herself alone when he leaves for a three-day work trip to Delhi. Encouraged by a friend, she embarks on an ‘fling’ during this brief window of freedom. But little does she know, these three days will bring unexpected twists that will forever alter the course of her life.
What connects these three seemingly unrelated stories? When and where do these narratives intersect? The answers to these intriguing questions are to be unravel on screen.
The major highlight of this film is an unexpected twist that catches the audience completely off guard, and the screenplay complements it perfectly. While there isn’t a single unnecessary scene, there are moments where you might feel a slight lag. The first 10 minutes of the film may feel bit chaotic but eventually find their rhythm. Despite having three different storylines, the director ensures that the audience is never confused, and this seamless execution deserves appreciation.
Performances:
After impressing audiences with his performances in films like Masood and Pareshan, Thiruveer shines once again in the role of a passport officer. He fully showcases his talent in this film, proving yet again how impactful he can be when given the right opportunity.
Shanthi Rao excels in portraying the role of a middle-class woman who is full of hopes but lacking the financial stability to fulfil them. Her performance beautifully captures the struggles and aspirations of her character.
Poja Kiran brings to life a character with multiple shades—whether as a loyal friend, a self-centered lover, or a manipulative woman willing to go to any lengths for money. Her portrayal truly captures the complexity of the role, making it one of the standout performances of the film.
All the other actors fit their roles perfectly and delivered commendable performances.
Technical Team:
Technically, the cinematography is impressive. Despite being a small-budget film, every frame is crafted with care, ensuring that the audience never feels like they’re watching a low-budget production. The rich visuals elevate the overall experience. Kamran’s background score complements the narrative beautifully, adding another layer of intrigue and emotion to the film.
Overall, the film stands out as something more than a routine watch, offering a fresh experience. The director skillfully brings to the screen the fears and greed that people harbor when it comes to money. Had the same story been approached as a crime thriller rather than a crime drama, it could have taken the narrative to the next level.
